Farcast offers the following services directly to consumers for private use:
Farcast Moblogger
Farcast TV
Farcast FeedMe!
Farcast Moblogger - Mobile blogging made easy
The Service:
Anyone can download and install the Farcast Moblogger application on their telephone free of charge. Farcast Moblogger makes it possible and easy to create and upload photos, video clips, audio clips, unlimited text and GPS location coordinates directly from a mobile phone to the internet at the touch of a button.
Farcast Moblogger users receive a free Farcast blogsite for posting all their content and airing their views. Users can also choose to have their items forwarded through to their favourite blogsites (e.g. Blogger) or sharing sites (e.g. YouTube or Flickr) or to email it to friends.

The Farcast Moblogger service also supports MMS uploads for users whose phones cannot support the Moblogger application.
The Farcast Moblogger service has been suspended. See the message on http://moblogger.farcast.eu for more information.
How it works:
By signing in at the moblogger main page, users can download a free application for their mobile phones which enables them to upload photos videos, audio, text and location directly from their telephones to the internet. Users whose telephones are not (yet) supported can make use of MMS uploads. All posts are uploaded to a free Farcast Moblog (with location mapping function).

Users can also define additional endpoints and set their preferences to forward items either automatically or manually. In this way, users of sites like Facebook, Blogger, Hyves, Flickr and others can use Farcast Moblogger to update their sites quickly and easily from their mobile phones. Farcast Moblogger supports the major popular sharing and social networking sites as well as a number of niche sites.
Benefits for private users:
• Free mobile blogging and uploads, with location
• Convenient and easy to use
• Multiple sites supported
• Cheaper, easier and better than MMS

Farcast TV - Your own TV channel.
Farcast TV provides website owners with a few lines of code to incorporate into their website. Video clips can be sent from the user's phone to the TV channel either via MMS or via a dedicated application. Users can manage contributions to "their TV channel" by inviting visitors or friends to send in their videos via MMS, which will then automatically be added to the carousel of videos displayed in the channel.
Farcast TV is not currently availble for free standalone download, but will be made available via the Farcast Moblogger service soon..

By entering their mobile number on a weblog offering FeedMe!, users will receive an alert each time a new post appears on the blog. It is even possible to immediately view the text and images of the blog post on mobile phones. To enable a weblog with FeedMe! the site owner needs to copy and paste a short piece of html code into the blogsite.
The service is currently only available for users in The Netherlands and can be found on http://feedme.farcast.nl.
